Coming off a 2nd place finish in the Schulenburg Tournament, the Lady Cards played the St. Joseph Lady Flyer’s on 8-23-2016 in Victoria.  The Lady Cards came away victorious in a tight 4 set match.

The Lady Cards lost set one 19-25, but came back strong and won 3 tight sets in a row, 25-22, 25-18 and 25-23.  Sablatura had a game high 14 digs while Wisonokie added 9 digs and a game high 14 kills.  Truitt had a game high 16 assists followed by Hoelscher with 14.  Theut and Johnson had great all around nights.  Theut had 6 kills, 4 aces, 3 digs and 6 total blocks.  Johsnon had 3 kills, 2 assists, 5 digs and a 5 total blocks.  Weishuhn had 9 kills and 4 total blocks while Munsch add anther 7 kills and 4 total blocks.

Coach Johns has the team playing great right now.  They are improving week after week.  With the win the Lady Cards overall record is 14-4

The Lady Cards will be playing in the George Ranch Tournament starting 8-25-2016.  They start off playing Alief Taylor at 3 p.m. and Foster at 4 p.m.  Go support your local athletes if you have a chance!
