The Lady Cards are coming off an impressive win against Needville in Needville.  Columbus is currently tied with Needville for 1st Place in District.  With only one more game remaining besides this one against Sealy the Lady Cards need to stay focused to take 1st in District.

Sometimes coming off a big win you tend to take things for granted and not play to your best ability .  The Lady Cards lost the first set to Sealy 18-25.  Some teams would be complacent with a loss when they know they are already in the playoffs, but not the Lady Cards.  They came back fighting like true champions and showed they want to be 1st in District.  Columbus rattled off three straight set wins 25-22, 25-22 and 25-19.  With this win versus Sealy the Lady Cards improve to 8-1 in District play and 32-9 overall.

The Lady Cards will face Brookshire Royal in Columbus on Tuesday, October 25 @ 7:00 pm.  This is the last District match of the season and also Senior Night.
