The Lady Cards started off great with a win in their first district game of the year against Bellville.  They now face Stafford in Stafford and hope to keep their momentum going.

Columbus got off to a slow start in the first being down 6-2.  In the second quarter they gained momentum and outscoring Stafford 13-8.  Going into halftime the Lady Cards were up 15-14.  In the third the Lady Cards increased their lead to 24-21.  The fourth quarter Stafford came back and went ahead by 2 in the last minute.  Trap scored a big bucket to tie the game.  Unfortunately the Lady Cards would lose in overtime 41-38.

The Lady Cards are now 17-10 on the season and 1-1 in District Play.  Next district game is against Needville in Columbus on 1-13-17.
